MOO, MuD - object-oriented
MuD stands for multi-user DungeonMOO stands for MuD, object-oriented, and was developed by Pavel Curtis in the early 1990s.
On this page, we will give you information and download links related to MOO.
What are MOOs usable for?
MOOs can be used to create almost anything object-oriented based on the fairly easy-to-learn MOO programming language. To begin working on a MOO, you must have:
- a Windows or Linux MOO server
- a MOO database
Please note that these are only the minimal requirements. The standard MOO server is called LambdaMOO, and contains a minimal database with it as well as a LambdaCore database, which is, as the name says, a core database.
Core databases are a good starting point for a new MOO coder.
